Umoja in London's West End

The South African hit musical Umoja opened at the Shaftsbury Theatre in London’s West end in November 2001 to critical acclaim in the British press. The show received a three minute standing ovation on opening night and went on to complete a successful run before moving to the Queens Theatre and then extending its run at The New London Theatre. APA’s Trevor Peters was running his own company at the time and designed the sound for Umoja in all three of the West End Theatres before going on tour with the show to Australia.
